I travel to Bali alone all the time but I'm probably double your age.
Bali is a great place to travel alone especially for young people. Stay in a budget hotel (but choose carefully) some are party places (maybe that's what you want but be aware of the differences.
I'd read lots of things on Bali before you go. Read here and tripadvisor. I see young girls get railroaded by hawkers into getting nails done, hair braided etc at ridiculous prices. They grab unsuspecting girls and start doing their hair etc and demand payment. I met 2 young ladies last trip that were too scared to go out of their hotel. If you are confident and can stand up for yourself you'll have no problems.
This would be my major concern. I have never felt unsafe in Bali even leaving clubs at midnight with virtually no-one around. Just take the same precautions you would when out at night in any place.
If possible find someone to go to clubs etc with. I haven't heard of any drink spiking lately but be aware (as you would at home).
