with my husband back in 2009. I had been to Bali many times in my single days and he had been once, for work over 20 years ago when they were building the Four Seasons at Jimbaran. I had racked up 10 years with my company & was able to cash in my long service leave so decided I wanted to spend some on taking the family on a Bali holiday.
Now you'd think my hubby would've jumped at the chance - he's a keen surfer, LOVES hot weather, likes to relax.... well I can tell you it's only because I was paying that he agreed reluctantly to go LOL.
So I decided we'd only go for a week and booked our flights.
We started off with a few days in Legian and after about a day and a half there, hubby asked "when did you say we're going home again?" and when I replied on Saturday, he said "can you see if we can change our flights, that's not long enough".
So he went from not wanting to go at all to deciding within a day that a week wasn't long enough LOL. I hope your hubby has the same change of heart that mine did :-)
