We stayed one night only in July not because we didn't like the hotel but because we had a 3rd floor room in the area that was formerly Bali Subak but is now part of Sari Bunga. The room was recently renovated and was really good value for the price. New floors NEW bathroom, even the loo was new. However it had those very steep stairs so common in Bali with a low handrail and my normally fit husband has a bit of a bung knee which started really playing up and then because he was scared it might just collapse he had to go up bent over in order to hang on (which was funny, sadly no camera),crabwise, then his back came out in sympathy and we decided we'd better move on. I gather that not all the rooms are recently renovated and I must admit the breakfast was not the best but still plenty of options for breakfast around. Really good location a hundred metres or so from Legian beach. I would say good value for your budget dollar.
