dont leave anything 'valuable' in my case that i can avoid, but i have on numerous occasions had expensive aftershave stolen from my lugguage, no choice but to put it in there due to the liquid ban.
now if i am flying internally i get my backpack shrink wrapped by the guys out front.... i know its not security at all, but its a damn hassle to get off, and seems to put them off a bit from what 'unwrapped' would be such an easy target.
Its not security, but it is a half decent deterant.
