Basically you can have what ever holiday you want in Bali, from feral to luxury.
If some one smokes in a restaurant simply get up change seats or leave. Remember this is a third world country relaxed laws.
You can stay in Kuta,Tuban or Sanur you must be prepared to get hassled in every form or you can stay in Seminyak further North or further South and not be hassled at all.
