We went last month but did the organised trip. Pretty sure you could just buy tickets on the day - maybe pop in there the day before just to be sure or ring them seeing as you are a group of 10. I think you would have no problems once you are there as plenty of places along the beach to eat and people taking out snorkellers etc. the little boat we went on probably only took 10 so I would book I think :)
