and I stayed at Sanur Beach Hotel in June last year and loved it. Breakfast was fabulous with a large eating area and the swimming pools were huge - bigger than average around Bali. We liked being at the very end of the walk along the beachfront and beachside (feet in the sand) cafes on the beach were great. Not sure what the kids club is like. We had an ocean view room and loved it. I would really like to return to the hotel with my hubby and 2 older sons sometime as there were some water sports conveniently out beachside of the hotel. From memory, at the front of the hotel (at the end of driveway entrance) was convenience store across the road and then a number of restaurants in nearby walking distance. Good luck with your decision - am sure you'll have a great time no matter what. Sanur is such a great area for a family where you're sure to enjoy time together. Have fun!
