Depending what time of the year you are travelling accommodation is very easy to find.
At some places I found it hard to bargain down prices as a walk in, however I did have success at one place. They can spot desperation and would rather leave the room vacant than let it go cheaper... go figure.
Some cheaper places have fixed prices and we had success with these as well. We only booked 5 nights for a 2 week stay and all was ok.
Also, with countless internet cafes, once there, I found it very easy to book online cheaper.
