we have ridden many many K's in Kuta, Tuban, Legian no problem.
Riding bikes is becoming very fashionable now, with bike clubs in Denpasar and some very expensive gear and lots of lycra too !!
Bikes, scooters, pushies and even walking, there are always elements of danger, especially if your luck is out, but this is the case no matter where you are.
