I think considering the money we'll save that we should opt for the Jayakarta. I'm sure this will more than make up for the more expensive drink/food prices at the hotel & we eat the majority of our meals out anyway.
Most of our time at the hotel is spent around the pool so I think the fact the grounds & pools are superior to the KP works in the Jaya's favour.
I really appreciate you offering your opinion on both - it has helped immensely :-)
