The Village restaurant in the front of the Griya Satrian is awesome Italian. Give that a go. Also just a short stroll away is the Wicked Parrot - good food, drinks and awesome band called the Bali Leprachauns - it is owned by the same people that own the Cat and Fiddle which is down the other end of Sanur. Cafe Batu Jimbar is another great restaurant as is Cinnamon, Bonsai Cafe, and Massimos Italian and Ratatouille. You will love Sanur. A lot quieter than Kuta. The beach markets are great for everyday bargains for shopping for the wife. We also did a day trip to Discovery Mall and the surf factory outlets for shopping though. Have fun.
