We have stayed in privately owned apartments 3 years ago and will be returning in 6 weeks. We love the jayakarta facilities and the grounds for the kids. We eat out each meal but its still nice to have the apartment and space to spread out. The ones we stayed in were on the puketoki site and were managed very well and cleaned as well as a 5* hotel. Nothing was any problem to the operators.
