I think Bali Dynasty would be great for the kids. Although they are too old for the kids club there is a teenage club where they are fully supervised if you need to go out for a while. Also being a family resort there will be other kids around. Have you been on the Dynasty website (shows activities available). They do have a tour desk (Safari Park/Jetset watersports) whereas Waterbom just walk over yourself. Dophins (Sanur) would be about the only thing you need to prebook prior (see Bali Dophins Website-pay on arrival). Dynasty doesn't have the greatest beach so you can walk/taxi down to Legian for the Surf lessons ($10 AUD hour) for the kids. We take cash and change at the kodak shop out the front of Dynasty (Use room safe). RE Booking- perhaps look online at flights and Dynasty website/other websites and then take cheapest quote into travel agent. Being an ex TA I now book myself but this latest trip I went thru agent for hotel as it was cheaper!!! RE Hotels- We have stayed at Holiday Inn, Sanur Plaza Suites, Padma, Hard Rock. The kids prefer Dynasty. Hard Rock would be OK for your kids but quite large resort (Dynasty a little smaller-rooms close to pool area).
