Seems to be moving daily. Some days it's at the beginning of Sri Wijaya, just after it starts at jalan Legian and other times near the old Cyber Cafe, as you witnessed.
Other days they're stopping bikers (in particular), at the bottom of Patih Jelantik, as they turn left into jln Legian. I've been stopped 3 times in the past week.
As someone else posted, it was payday yesterday, so not likely to see any police points for a couple of weeks now.
