About 2 weeks ago I posted ( without any comment ) the latest DFAT warning re Travel to Bali & I was very interested to read the comments that arose from this post. These seemed to fall into 3 categories:-

Category 1- Those who were not concerned about the warning & would not be making any changes to their plans. One member went so far as to suggest that the livelyhood of the Balinese should outweigh any visitor safety considerations. They may be interested in some really cheap specials going in Kabul, Lybia & Somalia LOL !

Catergory 2 - Those who may still go to Bali but may amend their plans Ie Not take their children.

Category 3 - They indicated that they will be cancelling their Bali trips & will be holidaying in an area that they percieve as safer.

Our travelling party of 3 couples ( no kids ) have decided that we will "play the percentage game" We will still go to Bali but will relocate from our planned 1st week in Kuta to Sanur, a few days in Lombok then a week in Seminyak.
