The group of 4 picked bikes from out the front of Paddys that night. J, B and S (2 boys and a girl) got on their bikes and their drivers sped off - which we were used to. My driver sped off behind them. but before turned down the regular street we used he turned the other way. I noticed this straight away. He then pulled the bike over and proceeded to get off - by this time i was packing it so i got out my camera and started taking photos. He kept saying to me you get off bike, you get off. I refused to do so as i didnt know where i was and kept on snapping photos. I then went to get my phone out. It was only when i did this that he got back on the bike and smahsed it home. This whole incident took about 3 minutes, but because he had taken the wrong way and we had left after my other friends i was about 10 minutes behind them. When i got dropped at the hotel i could see they were pankied as we usually all travel home together. When i got off the bike the driver didnt ever wait for the money he just sped off. He was one of the licensed jackets but it was just about the only thing i didnt snap a picture of - which in heinsight is stupid!
No problems afterwards - thanks for your concern. Would still travel on bikes again definetly but will be more careful about ensure i leave at the same time as my friends and always keep them in viewing distance.
