Ah bugger, countdown begins. Just had 3 magic days on nusa lembongan, another place that's been and being brutally overdeveloped, but retains its serenity - a wet and bumpy boatride to get there means relative solitude.
Of course we swam, walked, read, ate, drank [sambucca shots 2 for $6, well wots a girl 2 do...
Managed gadogado 4 lunch each day 50c for paper parcel of rice, veg and peanut sauce - ground and mixed b4 my eyes. Also discovered pisang rai 4 b'fast - same price- rice, banana fritters[rice flour], fresh grated coconut and palm sugar syrup - heaven and much nicer than ians toast. Gluten free no probs here.
Now back at legian till we leave tuesday night. It's busy and noisy but not too bad, and we love the buzz and the beach. Ian's surfing on a big fat board, i've done a bit of shopping and now drinking fresh squashed mango juice too thick for the straw, overlooking thumping waves and taking advantage of free wifi.
how long till next time??
