New deluxe rooms are on the Seminyak side (not a great view). We had the option of upgrading to a lagoon view room upon arrival at the hotel (I think for $10 extra per night) which will overlook the new lagoon pool. I think this is common practice with the Padma (trying to upsell clients on arrival) when they aren't fully booked! They also offered to show us both room types (and location) prior to checking in. If you check out some of the website photo's you can see the lagoon view rooms (2nd floor and up)- the deluxe rooms are just across the corridor. Have a great holiday!
