It simply depends on your skin type. Henna is cheap as peanuts so I doubt the tattooist is using dodgy ink. Its a simple fact that some ppl just have a skin type more prone to reacting with Henna, like any other chemical a small patch should be applied prior to inking. The tricky part is you need to wait at least an hour to see if your skin type reacts.
