I do believe it is a bit run down and leaves a lot to be desired.
The AP Inn is in Jl.Poppies1 and I would recommend you try these other budget hotels in Poppies1 before the AP Inn.
Fat Yogies, Kedins, The Persona Inn, Ayu Inn, La Walon (a bit dearer) or my favourite The Masa Inn.
There are plenty of other budget hotels around Poppies1 so If you are unsure just book one of the above short term, have a look around and go from there.
