Iphone sim - need quick reply

help needed. I have an iPhone 3G and I'm in Seminyak now heading to Ubud in a couple of hours. I have had difficulty getting an iphone sim and had someone put another sim in which didn't work. Virgin told me the phone was unlocked and I have resynced the phone with itunes.
Can anyone tell where to get a sim card that works?
