La Lucciola overlooking Seminyak beach would be lovely and also Pearl on the border of Legian and Seminyak. Ultimo on Laksmana, Seminyak is very popular. A lovely place with value for money is Jemme on Petitenget. In Tuban there is Ma Joly at the Sandi Phala. I would be very happy to be taken to any of these for a special occasion.
A little more upmarket are Breeze at the Samaya, Sarong, Sardine and Metis (formerly Warisan) and Nutmegs at Hu hu and The Living Room.
