as the original OP actually asked about renting and then having others stay in it, so this may need a license to do such, not a KITAS in fact. As we always do, before entering into any agreement in Bali we have our lawyers go through it first. The Indonesian system seems to have a habit of moving the goal posts, so what might have been legal or not one day can change the next here. And sometimes things are not legal and just done here for many years so people presume they can be done. I think people are now finding that there are lot more crack downs on everything that used be "the usual".
