We found heaps to entertain our gang of teens. They did ATV's and loved it but came back VERY dirty so wear old shoes, just booked at a booth in street. White water rafting was also a hit, as was the Treetop adventure park (google it). It was really high up in trees and it sure wore our boys out and only 2 out of 5 made it to end of course so its not so easy as it looks. (8yrs to 17yrs)
We did both Bali zoo and Bali Safari park and found them to be both good and a quite different experiences. I would stay night at safari park next trip. These are all long drives so you can easily do temples etc in transit and we found just one of these activities each day was plenty with a few hotel/pool chill out days slotted in between.
We also did a half day at Nusa Dua doing water sports and turtle island and still there was heaps of stuff we still haven't done in Bali so my boys are chomping at bit to return so I am trying to save some dollars but these kids are not helping when they contribute to massive electricity bills.... I just say turn off some stuff here at home or we wont be going anywhere anytime soon !! (and no they are not listening !!)
