As I mentioned in a post yesterday there is presently a major blitz across Bali to eliminate unlicensed vehicles from carrying tourists. I strongly suggest that anybody wishing to use Wayan Ardana's vehicle - or any private car/driver on a charter basis - should ask to first see the vehicle's tourism accreditation documents which must by law, be carried at all times in case of a police inspection. Licensed Tourism Vehicles will also have a small square metal plate fixed to their rear number plate. I say this for your own protection as if you are travelling in an unlicensed car which is pulled-over at a police inspection point, you will not be allowed to continue to travel in this vehicle and will need to make alternative transport arrangements to get you back to your starting point. There is also a possibility of insurance implications if the vehicle in which you are travelling is involved in an accident.
