Echo Beach (between Seminyak and Tanah Lot) on a Sunday (only)afternoon/evening dinner is a great treat. very,very popular. So to is Tanah Lot which is a must do! Make sure you get there well before sunset to enjoy all of it.
The 'Temple by the Lake' is very beautiful, but make a full day of it and visit a couple of other things nearby, even perhaps Git-Git falls.
The Elephant and Safari park is supposed to be excellent, but I am yet to visit it.
Don't make the mistake of going anywhere near 'bloody' monkeys. They aren't cute at all, especially the monkeys at the relatively ordinary Temple at Uluwartu.
