Believe it or not Australian citizens can and are regularly prosecuted in Australia for bribing foriegn government officials. Amazing but true. There are only a handful of offences (including child sex offences) where Australian law applies to it's citizens overseas.
Can see it being good PR for a Balinese politician working with the AFP in shutting down these rings.
Corruption hurts everyone in a society and this Murti character facilitates this.
