Have stayed there several times and been happy. Last time I was there was in March Rooms have been newly renovated. It is very central. We use one of the Hotel drivers (Merta Nadi) regularly as he is so knowledgeable and polite.
Hotel is so totally different in environment and clientele. My advice is to stay in the Cottages but do go for a walk and check out the Hotel to see the difference between the two.
