a couple of times and had no problem but then to be fair it hasn't rained constantly usually in the evening mainly. The paths in the hotel may well flood but go down quickly and once on the road I haven't come across any real flooding when walking via Jln Mertasari. The alternative is to walk via the beach path, depends where you are heading.
