Just take everything easy. Wait for a day, then shop. You will be hassled if you say it is your first time. You can walk to the markets and it will be a good way to see things. You can also walk along the beach. Nice in the mornings. Bars and restaurants everywhere. Relax and enjoy. You will probably be ripped off just like everyone else. Try not to take too much money with you for the first couple of days so you won't spend till you feel right about prices. Watch the number of 0's on the bank notes. They all look alike. Count your money before you hand it over. Been going since 1980 and still get duped. So.............
