Our adult kids stayed at the Respati in June 2009 when we couldn't get them into our accomodation.

We thought it was a nice-ish sort of resort. It's long and narrow and stretches from the main road all the way down to the beach.
Can't quite remember the different categories of room, but the newer seafront (next to the pool) rooms were nice, modern, spacious and clean. We even had a good look in one of the more traditional bungalows and they looked fine.

The location is pretty good, close to the Sindhu Markets and some good restaurants on the main road and along the beach. There is a really good moneychanger across the road to the right.

The pool was small but adequate and their beachfront restaurant served all the usual fare (burgers, nasi goreng, chinese, etc.etc) and at quite good prices I thought for a hotel restaurant.

All in all, even though we didn't stay there, the kids really liked it.
I wouldn't have a problem staying there in the future, but I think I'd probably prefer to stay in the newer seaview rooms.
