I have brought back a few at times.....two once 1mt x 1.20 roughly..they were wrapped in cardboard and ties on them the airling put fragile on them and they went with my luggage and have always come back perfect....We did bring some back unrolled the first time but was expensive to frame so best to bring back framed....
