The lakes are worth a stop and good coffee brake.
Candy Kuning markets sell loads of fresh spices and a western loo. Clean and modern. Crackers Bar and grill for a drink and some food.
Your husband wants to visit "Remo Department Store" in Dempasar. It specializes in electrical gadgets etc. Far wider choice from the run of the mill shops around Kuta/Legian/Snore.
