The rooms in Y block overlook the old pool. I think the old area is much nicer. This wing does get full sun in the afternoon, but it has a good view if you are o the 2nd or 3rd floors.
04 is ground floor with the pool directly in front of it, so you don't have balcony privacy and there is a pond in front of the room, so you may want to be aware of mosquitoes. If you look at photos of the KP on their own site, , Y wing is always featured. Have a look on webshots as well.
