Venturing out to Asia from Bali

Hi. Whats the best airline to use from Bali to other Asian countries, Im thinking to use Bali as a base & travel to other destinations (yet to be decided) from there & return for 3 weeks or so, Vietnam, Cambodia,Thailand perhaps Singapore have all been suggested. Looking for Feb to March for shopping/sightseeing
Has anyone had experience doing this, where did you go & how difficult was it from DPS ,any pitfalls to watch out for
Any Suggestions, some Idea on prices, visa requirements as well if possible
