We stayed there 5 years ago (Oct 2005) and it was very quiet. Only one other couple as guests as the time.
Very small pool and pool area. We had a two bedroom cottage right next to the pool. As it was so quiet we virtually had the place to ourselves. The cottage had two sleeping rooms downstairs and a small room uptstairs but this wasn't airconditioned and was very hot. Our children used it anyway as a bit of a play area to draw etc.
The grounds were fine and we were invited to have a bit of a look around the owner's/manager's(??) compound which is onsite. There is also a wood carving place on the same site.
We had free transport to and from Ubud and used the place as a base to do things in that area. Taro elephant park for instance. I think it may be closer from here to visit the Safari Park also but I stand to be corrected.
Bear in mind that Taman Harum Cottages are at least 20 mins out of Ubud central and the drive back was testing with young children after having dinner in Ubud. Felt like longer at times!
The mosquito nets were a bit tatty but no other complaints for the price. Small but adequate breakfast from memory not buffet but ordered from the menue.
