I took mine overseas from the time they were 4 ( now they are young adults ) and never once did I need to question if they would be bored, They were in a new country, new people, new cultures, food, experiences, sights, sounds, smells, and did not ever think about boredom. Tell them to open their eyes and minds a little and forget their life in Australia for 2 weeks.
