After being mucked around by Pacific Blue last year we decided that we wouldn't go cheap this trip but we were surprised to find that the best priced airfare was with MAS. (We are both teachers so high season fares are our only option).
Like a previous poster we want day flights and this is possible with MAS - no horrific 1.00 a.m. flights!
You can book stopovers both ways with MAS. We will stay at the airport hotel on the way to Bali so we can catch the 9.00a.m. flight to Denpasar and will have 2 nights in shopping heaven before we catch the 9.00 a.m. flight back to Sydney.
The food and grog are all free and good choices, back of seat movies and excellent service and usually a 747 aircraft.
