restaurant on Mertasari Beach is my favourite. Pick your fish from the display (on ice). Lovely setting actually sitting on the sand. Well not literally since there are chairs and tables. Also great for the kids to play while you dine.
Mertasari beach can be found by walking south on the beach path until you pass Mercure hotel and then just a little further you will find a row of beach cafes.
If going by taxi you need to ask for Mertasari Beach. If they don't know where it is get them to go to Mercure Hotel which will be on your left, proceed a little further and you will come to a big tree in the middle of a t intersection where you turn left and go to the end of the road at the beach. To your left are the row of warungs and restaurants.
