walk through Besakih hotel to the beach, turn left towards the markets and there are quite a few places with fish on the beach, the fish are on ice and all very fresh and very tasty. Your wife will know which ones to choose.
We sometimes eat the fish from the menu and not the ice and has always been good at Bonsai in the evening.
There is a sort of local eat market in Kuta and I can get there but not sure of the address but is left off Jalan Pantai to Jl Raya Kuta. I can't remember the name but can easily get if you are interested. We ate fantastic fsh there I think it is run by Chinese Indonesians. The fish was fantastic, so was the pork !!
