The hotel is actually in a small shopping mall/centre at Kuta Central Pakir (formerly Istana Kuta Galleria) on Jln Patih Jelantik
There is also an access from Jln Raya Kuta
Not sure how many shops there are now in the centre (were lots of empty shops at one stage) but there is a small local type supermarket , some cafes & warungs, Ace Hardware, surf shop, homewares etc
Thereare also some warung type places to eat in Jln Patih Jelantik & Raya Kuta
Dapur Alam restaurant is also close by
The main tourist area for shopping & restaurants (better selection) & the beach is a bit further away starting at about Jln Legian
The distance is walkable (but not sure I'd want to do it all the time)
Easy area for taxi access
Jln Patih Jelantik ends at Jln Legian
