We flew home with Jetstar in March and when I went into a duty free store at Denpasar airport to buy some Bali Moon cocktail mix, the sales person asked me what airline I was flying home with. When I told her Jetstar, she informed me that I wouldn't be allowed to take it on board with me and that it would be confiscated before boarding.She said if I was flying Garuda it would have been ok.
So naturally, I didn't buy any.I believe it is because Jetstar don't want their passengers/victims drinking their own alcohol onboard.
Another reason to add to the many that I won't fly with them again.
