One of the students in my year 2 class came back with a huge bag of mixed bracelets. There were plaited and also beaded ones. ALL the kids, both boys and girls were very excited about them. They much have been fairly inexpensive.
keyrings might be fine if the kids are teenagers but no small child would be that excited about a keyring. You can also get those packets of pencils with the characters on the top in some of the small department stores. i know Hardys in Sanur had them in packets of 5-10 or something. I considered buying some packets of them for the students in my class when I went over in April.
