I have been booking and flying with airasia since our first trip to Penang in 2004. We flew Johor bahru to penang. We had originally been hoping to go to Kota Kinabalu and had booked some of the trip with Q f/flyer points and some with a travel agent. Q then ceased the service from Sing to KK. And we had only paid a deposit with the travel agent. So we were more or less stuck in singapore for 2 weeks until I found the air asia website. My friends and family thought me very brave to be booking the flights all by myself on a low cost carrier that was unknown back then. I think we paid something less than $200 for 4 return tickets from JB to Penang. A faction of Anyting the travel agent could find. Since then I have done all my family trips and accommodation bookings online myself. We have flown air Asia to Penang , KL. Bangkok, Phuket, Jakarta ,KK,JB, Hanoi,Singapore and later this year we will fly to Bali too. I always look for the promo prices and we have had some fantastically. Cheap family flights
