The rooms are fine, nothing flash, I think it's 3 star so you get 3 star. Some people on the ground floor complained about flooded rooms the day we had a massive down pour and the action taken by the staff was pretty slow but you have to expect that in Bali. It all eventually gets sorted out in "Bali time" I am not real fussy, as long as the bed is good, the Aircon and shower works, I'm happy. I spend very limited time in the room. You can do heaps of research on the forum about it, some people like it, some don't. My suggestion is, go in with low expectations and be surprised how much better it is than you thought rather than getting really high hopes and being disappointed. The location is great. If you stay here and need a driver, email me (email left open) and I'll let you know who mine was, they are always chasing business, I honestly don't know how some of them survive.
