I would say no but it may depend on behaviour.
It is not acceptable that a largish group of people more or less invades the whole pool area, grab quite a lot of pool lounges and hang around for ever while the paying guests of the hotel have nowhere to sit.
It is not OK to come up from the beach and rinse a sandy surf board in the pool before returning to your own place.
And as a common courtesy, do not forget to shower before enjoying the pool.
Sure, common sense but I have seen enough of the opposite to appreciate it as a paying guest at a five stars hotel.
