I have been to farm animal markets - very crowded, smelly, heartbreaking, but hey that's how they do it. Cows, pigs, chooks, ducks, etc etc. Also other stuff. Not a pleasant place for an animal lover to go to. We went with a friend (local)and were very glad to have him with us. Was a bit of an eye opener for me, and I've been a regular to Bali since 1997.
