That's not necessarily true about paying peanuts and getting peanuts. We purchased one of the $99 for a week vouchers for Shangrila Beach Club in Candi Dasa - and got a second one week voucher for free.
Yes, it's a time share place and the condition was that we were to sit through a 'chat' - which never happened. We only stayed 3 nights, as that was sufficient for us in that area, being so quiet. But the accommodation was great, clean and nicely furnished. The pool was spotless as were the grounds, and we had a lovely breaky included each day.
$99 for two rooms for three nights - and potentially 7 nights if we'd wanted it - is great value for where we stayed.
I'm not saying the same is true for the place mentioned above as I've never stayed there or heard of it, but you can get a good bargain with those vouchers.
