Arrived on Saturday from Candidasa, was afternoon and the a/c wasn't on in the 1 br villa and the blinds were open. It was like a furnace took hours to cool down. We weren't very happy about it. Got a shock to find out the villa was on 2 levels, with the bedroom downstairs. To get there you have to negotiate about 19 spiral stairs. Of course no stair rails. We are getting used to them but are very careful no doubt if we were younger we would rush up and down them. Having dodgey knees etc it is a different story. Coming up doesn't seem to be as bad. This is through timeshare, it is very comfortable and spacious. We had the option of swapping on the Sunday to RBBC Jimbaran but we couldn't be bothered. We have our own plunge pool and everything is private, you can skinny dip if you want to.
We have eaten at RBBC, Pepperinos, Chocolate Cafe Pattiserie and Bakery and enjoyed them all. The pastries and cakes at the Choc cafe are to die for and very cheap.
Tonight we think we will eat at the beach. Still have some of the goodies from Choc Cafe so that will be a nice dessert when we get back to villa and we will have some of our duty free to go with it. We do however miss the interaction with other gu off.ests.
Had a warm stone massage on Sunday 90 mins at a little place next to RBBC think it was 150,000 rp not as good as the energy massage I had at the Kspa at Candi. It really pepped me up. It was also 50%off. They don't seem to do it here.
More later on.
