We have travelled to bali with our children since the now 13 year old was 12 months. We will be taking our fourth baby when she will be 17 months in september. We have used a product safe to use on babies from coles called OFF. This was fine last time with the younger kids. With my older three we have used aerogaurd kids and this is good too. We always spray our rooms every night once closed up and leave the aircon on until we get home after dinner and never have mossie problems. We also burn coils at each exit door each night with good results.
When the bubs are little they cant have immunisation. You can also buy mossie spots at pharmacy which repels mossies and these can be placed on the mossie net of the pram.
When we go out at night the kids usually wear 3/4 pants and long sleeved shirt which are light material.
We also take aquium and baby wipes to wash hands etc before each meal. Neber had any problems with bali belly.
Most of all enjoy, bali is the best place to go with kids.
